Supervisor Ed Fairbrother


Ed has been a resident of Big Flats for 50 years along with this wife Mary Lee and together they have raised three children. Prior to serving as the Town Supervisor, Ed worked in marketing and sales management for over 40 years. He brings to the town knowledge and experience in solid business practices. He has served on the town’s Planning Board, as a Town Board member and then Deputy Supervisor before becoming Town Supervisor, a position he has held for the last nine years.  

Lee Giammichele

Lee has been a resident of Big Flats nearly his whole life and is now raising his family in the town he grew up in.  He is married to his wife Susan and they have 3 children.  Lee worked for Federal Express for 20 years before joining Park Outdoor Advertising.   Lee was elected to the town board in 2014 and became deputy supervisor in 2016. 

Mike Saglibene

Mike has been a proud resident of Chemung County for 45 years. He graduated from Horseheads High School, received an Associate’s Degree from Corning Community College, and then a Bachelor’s Degree from New York Institute of Technology in New York City.  He is employed by a Big Flats company, HUNT Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors, and Landscape Architects where he holds the position of Architectural Project Manager. He has proudly served on the Town of Big Flats Town Board since 2011. Mike's wife Stacy is employed by Greater Southern Tier BOCES and his daughter Kendell, is a student at Horseheads High School. Him and his family enjoy the many benefits of living in this beautiful area of New York State and he is appreciative of the opportunity to be a voice for the Big Flats community.

Bob Adams

Bob has lived in Big Flats for over 30 year with his wife Debbie. Bob graduated from Corning Community College and The Penn State University with a focus on agronomy. After graduation, he began his 42 years in the golf course management industry before retiring after 42 years. Bob was previously the owner of  Willow Creek Golf Course in Big Flats and currently serves as the Seneca Retreat Owners Group HOA President. 

John Hunter

John moved to Big Flats in 1993 from Montoursville, PA.  He is married to Kathi Hunter for 40 years with three adult sons.  John was a Territory Manager for Andersen Windows for 28 years and retired from the position of New York State Field Director for Whitetails Unlimited after 6 years.  John has served on the Big Flats Planning Board for multiple years before being elected to the Big Flats Town Board in 2018.
